chickpee, not sure but I think it means if you cancel the INSURANCE.
If dialysis was request to settle the loan today for instance then her settlement figure would include a rebate of the insurance of the £1373 so she would settle at £1373 less. This would mean if she cancelled the insurance of today. If however she left the insurance in tact she could use it if needs be and also would still owe it all for the term of the loan. They are just taking into account if anyone does pay their redress over to them today.0 -

Or does this mean if you do cancel the insurance now this is what you would get back anyway against the loan if settled today for instance?
Marshallka, I understand it to mean it is up to dialysis if she chooses to cancel and claim the rebate, or keep it going and no rebate
FSCS di tell Honey2 if she wished to cancel, the Ins company have been instructed as to the amount that have to rebate.
The actual comp figure they received was less the Insurance rebate, as this has to come from the Insurance companydialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
You can cancel it or keep it going (its free!) and claim the rest of your no claims bonus at 4 years and 5 years.
The rebate if not including any interest owing. Its only a proportion of the actual PPI without interest.0 -

Wasn't Honey 2 given the option to cancel and claim rebate back or to just continue as it is, thus making her eligible to NCB, when it is due and also to claim against redundancydialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
How much are these no claims bonus amounts? How are they calculated?0

Marshallka, even if you pay back the ppi it is still in place if you dont cancel it, paying back money does not cancel the PPI.DS1 12/10/04
