My son in law rang last Friday and it was still with deloitte. they are still waiting for info from the new lender for the exact interest they have paid, since Picture was paid off. He did say to deloitte he would call the BS himself, which he has, but they(deloitte) said there would be little point as Deloitte and FSCS have more clout and they should responf fairly soon. This is all they are waiting for apparantley.
I think he may ring them again this Friday

    Hi hun

Your in the same position as us then, deloitte still waiting to hear from the lender, even when we tried chasing up with the lender when ringing in a payment towards the arrears, they did not give much away.....yet they did try putting us through to another dept and nothing was happening, apart from my phone bill shooting up, due to the amount of time we spent on the phone to them.......

We have left a message or 2 with deloitte, but have not heard anything back yet.;)

Backlog?? How can there be a backlog? They were working in batches of 50 at Deloitte why not the same at the FSCS?

Looks like we are in the same position Di. The BS did say they would send him the info, but when he asked if deloitte had contacted them, they said they could not discuss that with him. Why not, it's his account:mad::mad: When he does receive it he will fax it to Deloitte.

I wonder how it will work out in redressing for a settled loan? They will most probably pay back full premium and actual repayments made on the premium (like with unsettled loans) and then take off the rebate and then give you interest from the time of settlement to now.??????
