    Hi all
Couldn't post last night. At my grandsons Confirmation Service. Had a nice night.

Son in law just rang Deloitte. Case is still with them. They are waiting for more info from lender. He has rang lender himself and they will forward info to him also. He can then fax it over if he gets it first.:mad:

I have also just rang FSCS and they have said they can do nothing until they receive info from Deloittes.

    This waiting is a killer!!!!!!!!

Great news for Honey 2 though:D:D

busbyh, I feel really annoyed for you as really and truely you owe them nothing now (or your daughter and son in law don't) so surely they should get yours moving fast. At least you know they will take into account the interest you are now paying cause of it which is a bonus to you all.

Just hope its sorted for you soon.

    Thanks marshallka,
The man at the FSCS said ring in about a month (I don't think so)!!!!!!!
As you say it is for our benefit to get the extra interest. He (my son in law) asked the building Society if they had received a request from deloitte, but they were not allowed to say.:mad::mad: and they said they couldn't fax it.

    this post strike doesn't help

Thanks pinknico, that's the worse part . The not knowing if you have a claim. I just keep presuming it will be ok, but then the pessimism sets in.

GOT TO STAY POSITIVE FOR MY SANITY!!!!!

Marshallka, Can you help me work this out.

The new loan was for £42000. and the interest paid to date is £1992.20. Thats over 12 months. How much interest does that work out per £1000
The PPI amount was just on £9000.
I have rounded the amounts off for ease of calculation.

    £1992.00 div by 10 = £199.20 interest.

My heads all over the place

is the ppi about 4.6% of the new loan? = £433 interest paid for ppi amount
