I agree Di, afterall its only what most of you will be doing anyway, is by taking your cheque's to the bank, they should do it by BACS in these circumstances!

My mail has been fine up to now and i have had post from London that has come at the right time, if you know what I mean, so I am hoping that if our cheque is sent this week like thy have said it will be hear between now and Monday, heres hoping. I would think though that they might have to do something else payment wise if this postal strike comes soon. :A

Yes Di, they emailed and said my case was being reviewed and that hopefully I should receive a decision letter shortly, they cant give specific timescales but I should be assured a letter will be issued as soon as possible.

It sounded like they had been told not to give out specific times but I am worried again in case there is a problem with my case.

Of course like beaniebabe, he might be expecting me to read between the lines with words shortly and as soon as possible!

Not a lot of information there then, how longs a piece of string? Although if it is being reviewed it cant be far off done then mine is being reviewed and a cheque sent out this week so that is good news then do you think?

Has he eck.......:mad:, we have had the boiler repair man here most of the day, he have just gone about 10 mins ago.

And to top off my day it was my turn for a call for Picture asking when I will be paying off my arrears. Told them probably end of October. Hope it is!
