He also told me how much the cheque was for and what the break down is slthough it is all in the letter. He said congatulations if you don't get it this morning it will be tomorrow but bear in mind there are a few postal strikes still on.

I was thinking that Marshallka, it is not clesr on my policy if it is 3 months arrears or 3 months in arrears, so I think I will check before I cancel my policy.
But if I am entitled to it thats up to another £9000 over the next 3 years I could get back and pay off the loan.

I would expect though the early payment penalty if anyone pays off a lump sum unless they see it as paying off the ppi.

My policy also says the insurer pays back the rebate after 3,4 and 5
    Thats good news then Pinknico:T:T:T:T

Thank you everyone so very much - I can't wait for everyone else to get theirs!!!:j

Right now I have calmed - Mr Grumpy called me this morning - he said that since my complaint he had promised to take complete ownership of my claim until the cheque was paid out.

He said the figure was in excess of £12,000 - I have received the full amount I paid for the PPI + all re-payments to the PPI from 2006 to 1/10/09 including interest on these payments - I received 100% for the first £2000 and the remainder was at 90% - as I did not xc my ppi and it is stilll in force then this will no longer be the case and the PPI is xc from 1/10/09.

Also if I had claimed on the policy any money I received would be deducted from the compensation but as I have not he advised that this figure is £0.00.

He advised that the FSCS for Picture customers afre being very genergous with the payouts in addition there is another figure which is additional compensation. He said all info is in the letter which you will receive with the cheque.

He said he was very happy to be telling me the good news and being able to give me an idea of what to expect in the cheque he added this concludes the compensation claim for PPI - if I have any further claims against Picture I would need to contact the FSA.

Once again Congratulations good luck and I hope your husband gets a new job soon.

    I am so happy

Thanks Marshallka - you are very clever - you were very very close - when I see the letter I am happy to give you the exact breakdown so you can see how they have made the calculations.

    Thanks again
