No problem, I have still been thinking of you all, I want all 600 cases to win against Picture. I spoke to a financial advisor earlier this week and he said they are a bunch of crooks!
Awe bless you.:A
Mine is actually with Twopart who went into default on the 9th Sept, as confirmed by email not so long back, although they have not updated this on their FSCS site yet, but Deloittes have actually been dealing with mine since July apparently.
They asked me last week for details of how we settled, we remortgaged, so we had to give them the details of the lenders, did you have all this as well? them requesting these details from you?, if you don't mind me asking, thanks hun.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Mine was a little less complicated as our loan is still running and we haven't settled, so they didn't need any more details. That's probably why my comp was paid early on.0 -

Arh I see.;)
So it would differ then?
The first one was sold with TWOPART, lender Nemo, yet the FOS resolved the loan advance we had with Nemo, but we had to deal with Twopart separately, by the time we tried we had then been told they liquidated, so had this claim with the FSCS since about last July 2008.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Mammamia, do you know of anyone else who have had payouts recently from the FSCS?
Sorry for all the questions:o "bless you" and well done to you hunni:AXxxThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Very true, that's why the UK and America are in such a mess because of people being too greedy - I'm not sure how they sleep at night! I was actually asked to attend an interview this week via an agency, and when I found out it was a finance company selling credit card insurance I said that I wasn't interested - I wouldn't be able to live with myself!0 -

I see, perhaps some sent them in with not all the full details in the beginning. I saw on the FSCS site the other day where they made an anouncement about getting all details sent in quickly to speed up complaints.
There are a few on here no settled either and priority and they still have not dealt with yet. I think this post strike is not helping things so lets hope its next week for them.0 -

I haven't heard of anyone else, but I'm sure that I am not the only one. My financial adviser said he couldn't believe that the PPI was only for 5 years, but that we were actually paying for it for 15. I think that may have been the main reason for them deciding that it had been missold. Although then again, it could have been that only I was covered, even though the loan was in both mine and my husband's name.0
