To be honest it varies.....but on the whole response is usually quite good. I'll send an update ASAP

The FOS give you 8% on the whole redress if settled early. This was like my Co-op ones.

But to be honest I don't really understand how Norton can be held to blame because the issue of PPI was only ever discussed with Picture Financial staff and not Norton's staff. So it's me believe that Picture are the ones with the mis-selling issue not Norton!

I had issues like this with my FP loan and I believe FP sold it to me (although they say otherwise). If you believe that Norton had not sold it then you need to be adament of this and state that you 100% believe that the policy was actually sold to you by Picture and that is who your claim is against. I would say that they would have to prove otherwise for them to get out of this one. Just my opinion.

I for one am sick of the caviat..."we are unable to give you an exact timescale"....Well it's bloddy about time that they could!

As somebody that works in business I know that's just a way of easing pressure as you haven't committed to anything....I think we're looking a severe case of Teflon Shoulders here where nobody wants to be seen to take responsibility hence the mixed info from different contacts at the FSCS and Deloitte's.

Can you imagine if we were to send a message to Picture or The Council Tax saying.."I'm unable to give you an exact time scale for your payment but rest assured we will look to resolve this matter ASAP"....I'm sure they wouldn't show the infinate bloody patience that we are expected to display...Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

dialysis, i really cannot believe that yours is taking so long and when you had aleady won with FOS before this is actually ridiculous. I wonder if you can get onto FOS to help..... the one that actually upheld it perhaps. Just a thought but don't actually know if it will help you.

Have you also asked for a BACS payment?

Hi Gumbi Marshallka its so infuriating all this I have just spoken with my MP again and he wrote to them over a week ago, still no response but he would prefer to give them a few more days to respond and if not he will intervene again. Like you say Gumbi this not telling us how long is totally unacceptable and this telling you something that is not true, it cant be right surely. I dont know where to turn now if I knew how long it was going to take at lease I could tell my creditors when I will be able to pay up. Apart from ringing deloitte and the fscs every bloody day to get the same answer cant give you an exact timescale. This is bloody ridiculous and so worrying and upsetting for everyone.:mad::mad: I havent yet marshallka I will email them again and ask. Hopefully someone will reply to my last two emails first. Some bloody hope
