My EON cap ends Oct 1 so went on energyhelpline.com but EON won't allow them to do any of their switches so no £15!!
Now I've had an offer by post from EON offering a new capped rate deal until MAY 2011 @ 5.8% more than current Standard prices. No cancellation fees, 6% monthly direct debit discount but no mention of Tesco clubcard points (as now).IS THIS A GOOD DEAL??

I see, despite regular resolutions from their representatives here, as usual the tariff details is not available on E-on's web site. Due to the way the structure is usually tightly tied to an average consumption this is shameful.

(And they do not allow to enter you useage in kWhs. Again, considering the targeting to a national average, this is shameful.)

Quite right Kim. Still not available in the format we would like. We are closer though. I have personally been testing upgrades to the website for the past few weeks.

These will allow you to see prices/discounts much clearer than at present.

I'm no computer boffin so don't know what goes into this type of programming. From what I am told, this will be part of a significant revamp of the website so takes time to push through.

The important thing is to make sure it is right. I have more testing to do and am told we are now close to going live but don't have a date for this yet.

Please be assured, I will only be too delighted to let everyone know when the upgrade goes live.

Also take your point about being able to enter usage in kWh. I totally agree and will pass this on.
