Help me please, simply be have taken money from my debit card which is recorded on my account details for an item oredered. This should of been added to a credit account and not taken from my debit card. They are saying that I must have ordered this way and that is why it was taken, I did not order the item and pay with my debit card and would like the money refunded as I can not afford to pay out the money in one go. they say there is nothing they can do and that I must of ordered the item this way as there is no way their system would let this happen without the security number being put in, which I never did. I feel like they have stolen £229 out of my bank account, which in turn leaves me short of money to pay other bills. They are adimant that it is not their problem, is there anything I can do.

Return the goods ordered? Surely this would be the best option anyway if you cannot afford them?Gone ... or have I?0

How long have you had the item? Can't you send it back and get a refund then reorder again adding it to your credit account?

the bed is now in use so unless it is faulty surely it cant be returned had the bed 5 days0

Have you been through the payment process to see if you can remember which option you selected? Is this detailed on the confirmation they sent you?
Would you definitely have qualified for a credit account?Gone ... or have I?0 -
The bed is already in use so unless there is a fault dont suppose i can return it.
I have had the bed for 5 days.
The reason that I ordered it on a credit account and not a debit payment was that I had budgeted for 3 payments to pay the balance of the bed so as not to pay the interest and could afford it. Just would like to know if there is anything I can do about them taking the money of my debit card without my permission.0 -
yes I have a good credit balance with the company, they say that they wouldnt of been able to take the money without my permission but I never gave it and they took the money. and the option is set on my account to use credit account only have never used debit card with the account when ordering only when paying the balance off.0

do you think the bank would be able to help ??????
because i am fed up arguing with the call centre0 -
i think this is a wind up or the op really is not switched on ! the default setting for simply be is the credit acc you have to click to change to a card payment , which is what ive just done 10 mins ago .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. You must've clicked something when ordering to have the money taken from the debit card!
Under distance selling regulations, I think you had 7 days to inspect then let them know you were returning it, so too late now.
Why buy a new bed when you don't have the money? What were you sleeping on before?
In future, you should use Freecycle, as they often have beds being given away on there.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
