Have 3 blocked my Sim card again
Options
I have a Skypephone S2, and after my contracd finished I got a Sim Card to go PAYG with free Skype. I decided I'd sign up for the £5 Three Pay free internet for three months, and then use the credit for further internet when I wanted internet on the move. Which seemed a good offer for occaasional usage, since I had the phone anyway.
Before I tried to sign up with my credit card it worked fine, within a few days of signing up my phone stopped working. Whenever I went onto Planet 3 or anything it would say no network. Try to phone and it says not allowed.
So I got a free sim card and tried to register again. Again a few days later after registering it stopped working. I checked online and it does not appear to be a problem with the card.
So I cannot understand it, and I'm not looking forward to trying to talk to three customer services.
Is there something wrong with the phone that Three think it is 2g and therefore are blocking it. Is there any way to tell that we are on the 3 3g network or falling back onto 2g. I think we may be on a bit of a signal blackspot, so I was more careful with the second phone, but it seems a good offer, but I might just have to give up.
Anyone else had problems or is it just me?

By the way when I dial the number with the phone on it states "the number you have called cannot accept this call, please hang up and try again later." Saying that it currently does not have any top up on it. However, I do not want to waste money trying to top up a phone that does not work.0

You sure it's not a problem with the CC?
If there's been a problem with a CC the network can 'hot it' so when it's used it blocks the acc and stops the card working. I'd call 3 and check that they don't have an issue with your card. . .0 -
Thanks, I went on My3 and it did not state anything about the card, it looked lilke it would allow me to top up; I think I am going to have to call them.0
