Please help me

Had a couple of phones from apple store birmingham but they were problems with them so i had a refund but just noticed on my receipt and doesnt say anything about refundits just like a normal sales receipt think the guy may have charged for another phone instead of refunding one,whatcan i do now,im really worried:(

I used a Solo debit card

does it have a - infront of the amount? If so it may well have been refunded.
If I were you I'd go to a cashmachine for your bank, and get a statement print out. Check that and see. hth

No doesnt have the - ,been to cashpoint but nothing showing up yet

If you have a look at your bank statement there should be a helpline number on there that you can ring and ask if they have anything pending to go in or out of your account. Might be worth a try.
Or tomorrow go in to branch and ask them to bring up your account details and check whether the funds are being returned. If not then go back to the shop and aire your worries. hth

It was a statement print out

It may well take until tomorrow to go back on depending on what time they refunded. Try not to worry, and like I say, go in to your bank and see what they say when they bring your account up. Hope it all goes ok.

Thanks for your replies im one these people who gets worried quickly,hope something shows in my account,can this show after midnight?

Possibly, but not necessarily. It maybe more likely to be there after the banks open in the morning. It maybe that the transaction didn't go through until after 5pm and therefore didn't register today. I don't know enough about banks really, but if it doesn't show up after 9am tomorrow go in to your bank and discuss it with them. Good luck

Rang apple this morning when they opened at 9:30 and explained everything about not saying refund on my receipt,and the lady said it shows the amount in brackets for refunds and that it doesnt actually say refund on the receipt,so i checked my receipt and it did have the amount in brackets so looks like everything is fine and it should get refunded to my account,you would think it say refund on the receipt or a - by the amountstrange way to do it i think

Yep, not to worry, having the amount in brackets is standard accounting parlance for a negative amount.
