Broker King Car Insurance Reviews

Fortunately, during the year we were insured with this insurer we never had to register a claim. We went with them as they had come back cheapest on a comparison site but by the time they had requested supplements for things that we had miscalcutated on (they charge extra if you go over your stated milage for example) they ended up being more expensive.

They also sent out declaration forms for things never requested before from any other insurers. Everything had to be submitted 'within 7 days' to avoid making the insurance invalid. I dont necessarily have a problem with this but a year later when we requested a no claims certificate it was a no show. We called 4 times in 5 weeks and were told that it was sent out but it just never arrived. We had called another insurance company and received the cert just two days later so we know it wasn't just us! There was no apologies, no explanations and everytime we had to call we were put on hold for about 10 minutes before we got to speak to an operator. On average we were transferred about 3 or 4 times every time we rang and had to explain our request over and over again. Each call took approx half an hour. Also, don't bother emailing, they won't bother replying!

Sometimes its worth paying a little bit more for a little bit more service. As far as i'm concerned these guys are just a mickey mouse company and I would advise anyone considering to stay away.

Looks to me like Broker King staff are registering to “big up” their company

I have no idea about the company, but it falls foul of my first rule of insurance companies on moneysupermarket.
Never use companies that have names that should be in "The Simpsons".

No that was "Broker King", "Insurance king" is my made up one.

DO NOT TAKE OUT INSURANCE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!this is my opinion only you make your own mind up! these are the facts.

On the 29/07/2011 I paid for home insurance with this company. (cheapest on the comparison site compare the market .) After the payment went through from my bank I was contacted by Broker King they told me the price was not £158.00 that I had paid but £204 I said I wasn't happy and they offered a full refund ..WELL AFTER EIGHT TO TEN PHONE CALLS AND PROMISES OF CALL BACKS TO ME OH AND EIGHTEEN DAYS LATER NO REFUND HAS YET BEEN RECIEVED I HAVE TRADING STANDARDS, FSO, AND OTHERS WORKING ON IT!! BE WARNED..............(
