I know legally when you think about tax it is legal, but when you think about it deeper, is it a scam?

I see it explained on this following video, which made me think-

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-3287351200059366862&ei=0zeJSsGfEYen-Ab4iez_CQ&q=Fight+the+New+World+Order+with+Global+Non+Compliance&hl=en&dur=3

What do you think?

tax is needed to paid for things that if left to private sector would not happen.

the vast nature of revenue means there is alot of waste.

interesting video, really makes you think. totally agree with the dumbin down. Does make you wonder about the Rothschilds and their influence - seems Peter Mandelson always seem to be holidaying there.

In the UK, isn't it true, that from Jan - till June all the time you work you are working for the tax man, after June the rest of your hard earned work is yours.

Whole video is !!!!!!!!, especially the Freemason blood line stuff.

George W. is the 13th cousin of Queen Elizabeth II? Do you know how many 13th cousins you have? Assuming each of your direct ancestors have have had 2 children (The average used to be 2.4 children, is now 1.8 and previously has been much much higher, so this is conservative across 13 generations) then the average person has roughly 67 million 13th cousins. This ignores the impossibility of actually tracing family lines back 13 generations (allowing 40 years a generation that's over 500 years, which is before most family records begin).

I couldn't get further than that in the video, good for a laugh though.

No, you're working for the privilege of living in a country where you don't have to drink filthy water, live in !!!!, die before you reach 40, worry (for the most part) about your next meal or concern yourself with several dozen fatal illnesses that we have completely eradicated in our society.

It isn't just street lighting, getting your bin emptied or being able to visit the local library. it is the difference between dying in the streets and scraping by on minimum wage in a council flat (still a world apart). Hell it is the difference between having streets and NOT having streets.

150-200 years ago most people used to work just for what they needed to be able to survive, now you get to keep 50% to 2/3rds. That is progress.

what an awful video. I don't know how you managed to think while watching that p.o.s. The droning voice just goes on and on making accusation after accusation with no real proof shown other than random pictures and makes me want to throw my pc out the window.

It says this and that is connected to this and that and everything is secretly controlled by some secret organisation or another. Its just a bunch of conspiricy theory bull in my opinion. If you go back far enough, everyone is connected in some way. If you dig deep enough, all of the people in power will be related in some way be it some ancient blood line or the fact that the Queen and the U.S. pres both enjoy using andrex toilet paper to whipe their backsides.

Tax was introduced in this country to help pay for the war against France (I think). Since then it has been kept on as a good way to finance the needs of the country. Simple. It it not a scam.

Yes there is massive corruption and huge amounts of money being wasted, but that is the nature of men (and women).

WHAT HAVE THE ROMANS EVER DONE FOR US??
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

I have a cousin in the US who's recently retired. However he's looking round for some part time work to fund his medical insurance payments. Sometimes things don't look quite so bad.

Hmmm, water rates pay for drinking water (the utitliies are now privatised making vast sums of money for shareholders - money which could and should be used for investment), we pay for elec, we pay for our gas, we pay for health insurance, we pay for our meals - we pay for these out of what we left after the tax man takes a big bite of them. The tax pays for peter mandelson to have some nice holidays with the rothschilds or for Tony Blair to have some R & R with Rupert Murdoch. Have you not heard the quote:
"I care not what puppet is placed upon the throne of England to rule the Empire on which the sun never sets. The man who controls Britain's money supply controls the British Empire, and I control the British money supply." I let you figure out who said that.

And who regulates the water supplies, the gas and electric, we DON'T have to pay for health insurance (that's a choice you might make), who pays the electric bill for streetlights? the cost of schools etc etc, the cost of supporting those in society less fortunate than those of us who can work, the police, fire and ambulance services... etc etc etc

I didn't watch the video, but in recent months I have started to believe taxation is one big scam. Make no mistake, the MP's expenses scandal is just the tip of the iceberge. It turns out the BBC executives (yes, TV license is just another tax) have also been up to no good, and I'm sure the corruption stretches all the way over to our involvment with "Europe".

People are also content, thinking they pay around 22% tax. Some actually calculate that for every £1 you earn, only 17 pence of it goes towards buying goods and services for yourselves. This may be an extreme view, but a lot of people forget that in addition to income tax, we also pay:

    - Higher rate of income tax if you earn enough
    - National insurance
    - VAT on most items or services purchased
    - Duty on fuel
    - Duty on cigarrettes
    - Duty on alcohol
    - TV tax
    - Road tax
    - Inheritance tax
    - Stamp duty
    - Council tax
    - Most people pay towards their perscriptions and dental treatment

Not to mention when you buy a product or service from someone after all of the above has been deducted from your pocket, all of the above is also being deducted from their pocket.

I know we don't want to live in a third world country, but I believe the amount we pay in tax has reached ridicilous levels. The MP's are ok, what they pay in tax they reclaim in dodgy expenses. The big UK companies like Dell, Google and Microsoft are actually based in Ireland who have the lowest level of corporation tax in the world. Meanwhile it's your average small business and working man who is taxed to the point where we hardly have anything left to ourselves. Those who think 20% - 40% is deducted from their wages and believe they're left with 60% - 80% are deluded. Take all the above into account and you'll soon realise you're left with far less.
