Manchester to London Waterloo Return -£93.00

It would certainly be an interesting train as Virgin don't go anywhere near Waterloo which is on the wrong side of London! As to whether it is a good deal, who can say, Virgins fares are diffferent on every train every day. The Virgin website will tell you whether you can buy for less on the day you want to travel but as you give no details I cannot say. If it is the fare for the train you want buy it.0

It's a terrible deal. Tell us exactly when you need to travel and I'll find you a more reasonable price.0

Manchester trains go into Euston. Is that £93 total for both tickets? That's a quite good deal if so but do check cos as I said Manchester doesn't go to Waterloo.0

Errmm, it does say a tube journey, I'm presuming that I will have to get the tube out of my own pocket?
Well, we want to get somewere central, so from Manchester to London, somewere central. Ermmone adult and one 15 year old. going on 25th returning on the 27th (of this month).
Thank you0 -
Ah ok. That's too soon. Cheaper tickets can usually best be found about 2 weeks in advance.
If you buy a ticket that says on it that it is to Waterloo, then it will include the tube journey (you keep the ticket and it will open the tube ticket barriers). If you just buy a ticket to London then the train will take you to Euston and you will need to buy a separate tube ticket to Waterloo. Euston is just as central and accessible as Waterloo is by the way.0 -
Well you are best off just going to the station that the train usually goes to, then getting a tube to wherever you wish to go to, so going over to Waterloo from Euston is just adding on an extra tube journey for you.
Where will you be staying? There are many different areas all of which are central but the various tourist sites and attractions are spread over different parts.0 -
Oh ok thanks . How about if buy one for December? Will that be even more cheaper?0

Hopefully if the goverment decides to close school even longer I can go for even longer0

It's not that bad a fare, but it can be done cheaper.
You will certainly get it a bit cheaper with a Family railcard - it will more than pay for itself on the one trip at that fare.
It's far too early to get cheap fares for December - they are barely into November at the moment.0
