Government Car Scarpage scheme is a joke

i think the scheme is very much over rated unless you have some hard currency actually in your back pocket lol.
as for the finance, i cant see how kickstarting the car industry with this scheme and getting the economy back on track will work with loads of people in more debt.On the Keyboard of Life - Always Keep a finger poised over the Esc Key! :rotfl:0 -
I feel this scrappage scheme is being abused by manufacturers as they are upping there prices to cover the £1000 they give you and some going over that and upping by £2000.
.
Spot on, they are milking it for all it's worth, best advice, wait until it has ended and we get back to reality.0 -

Agree.
I have been to Citroen, Nissan and Kia and many more recently.
All three said there own schemes was better than the goverments but as car industry was hit bad they was willing to try anything to gain sales.
Basically they are saying if you wait until scrappage scheme finished you more than likely get a better deal off there own schemes.0
