:j:jDD coming over cos 'it hurts now!'

May be a long drawn out affair but she's coming to sit with me today.....so glad I work from home now....phew...

But apart from that I am going to make myself up like a glamorous granny.....go to tip, get ironing done, and work.......(cos Bunny put me to shame yesterday)

Can I just say though - I am more scared of going through my daughters labour than I was going through my own.....:o

  • Wow Sammy - how exciting! Where is DD's OH? You may end up going all the way with her at this rate.

I've been awake every hour again - and it's getting harder to stop the worry mode kicking in.

Dentist this morning and then back to County to finish the newsletter mag. I'll be checking for news though!

OMG Sammy how excited am I that Bubba is on its way *runs to get cold flannel and mucho lucozade* I can understand why you are more anxious of this than your own because you firstly know what the pain will be like, you never like to see your own child in pain and also because you have no control over how things go. She will get through it and if its bad she can have an epidural. Good luck Nat, will be thinking of you sweetie

Am off to get DD some sports shorts and T-shirt, take polo shirts back and exchange as they are too small, grrrr how can age 4 polo shirts be too small but the age 3 skirts fit fine if a little big. Stupid sizes!

Grim weather here at the moment so not sure what else we will be doing today? Do need to get a bit organised around here though!

Good luck at the dentist Bookie
Why crapo sleep last night Bunny? Not still got twitchy legs have you?

    Morning

    GL to Sammy's DD.

Still got lovely weather here, i think rain might be coming this afternoon though. I must remember to bring the washing in before I go to work, or I might be kicking myself later.

Before work though, I am having a talk with my bf - he has been neglecting me recently and I need to put that right!!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh exciting....I love babies.....hope it all goes smoothly for her (and you) Sammy....have they thought about names?

Spud - was just reading back about your uniform dilema, have you looked on ebay at blazers, a 2nd hand one might be a stop gap?

Sally - the sizings on all these things are daft, my 11 year old needs age 13 blouses to have enough room to move in but needs age 10 trousers for the waist but age 14 for the length.

I'm off to do school shoes for DD1 today - DD2 got hers last week and a friend donated her sons football boots he'd worn twice before growing out of....that saved a fortune. DD1 is supposed to have soft dance shoes too but I refuse to pay £18 for something she wears once a month if that so I make her go barefoot.....evil mummy. Her uniform is horrendously pricey, the skirt is £27!!!!

DS showed me his trainers last night and they have a hole in the sole, he is a skateboarder so his trainers last 5 mins, you can see his sock through it so I guess its a bit of an emergency to get new ones.

I got some cashback (£50) from a bank yesterday for switching accounts so I guess new trainers and his school shoes will come out of that.
