    ooops, sorry :o
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

Quackers, I just called them and they said they don't do travel insurance, only medical insurance!
Do you know if that is the right web address?

Hi! If you have a pre-existing condition ALWAYS cover yourself. From a trade point of view I could tell you countless stories from people who wished they'd taken insurance!

And quite why anyone would skip on insurance for Europe (throught the help/links on this site £10 top whack or so for 2 weeks!) is not moneysaving it's either plain 'tightness' or lunacy! The price of 5 pints of beer to cover you....madness

I think you misunderstood Travelman, I don't totally skip cover we have an annual mutli-trip policy but once again, if there's nothing they can do for me here, then why would it be any different abroad? That's what concerns me - and it's not and extra £10, it's an extra £100 ish

I guess the trick will be to find a company who will cover you without too big a premium after you have chatted with their "pre-screening".

A company I've often used (no previous ailements though) is

    https://www.primaryinsurance.co.uk

"Q. Can I take out Travel Insurance if I have any existing medical conditions?

    A. 1. Does anyone have any medical conditions that require ongoing medication?

    2. Has anyone been treated or investigated for any medical conditions during the last twelve months?

If you answer "Yes" to any of the above questions you must call Travellers Protection Services screening service to find out if cover can be granted.

    Telephone: 08707 744408"
