How are you trying to transfer it? I highlight all the tracks I want to transfer from the library, then right click and select the 'Transfer to Nokia 5800' option. And have you pressed the 'Media Transfer' icon on the phone first? It won't work unless you do. Other half is a bit of a Luddite, and even she has downloaded over 300 songs since she won her phone.

Try doing one song. The phone seems to sit at 0 for some time before transferring. If you try doing one song, it should be quicker, but might still sit seemingly doing !!!!!! all for a couple of minutes.

Also, have you tried "dragging and dropping" the track into the large Nokia 'phone icon on the left?
I had probs at first but once I did that it seemed to sort the glitch.
    Good luck.

Jevs, I didn't mean do every song one at a time. You'd be there forever. Just try one song, and leave the phone for a few minutes to see if it works. When other half was downloading 58 songs the other day, she said to me, "It's not working!" I had to point out that it takes some time to move about 400mb. :D It took about 5 minutes before they started to synch, then another half hour on my steam driven PC to actually transfer to the phone. Maybe you're a bit too quick pulling it out, as they say.
