Vodafone Mis selling
Anyone able to help
I have two contract phones with Vodafone and 2 weeks ago upgraded my phone. At the time they said i was eligible to take out a third contract for a family member or friend. I declined as i do not need one. Last week i got a call from the "vodafone loyalty team", they explained that they noticed i had just upgraded and that i had another phone on contract and would i like to upgrade this. I said it was not due till December and they answered that as a reward for my loyalty they would allow an early upgrade so that both contracts ruun at the same time. I said thats good service and they dispatched a new Samsung jet which arrived next day. I thought thats great service.
Last night, two days later a letter landed on my doorstep "welcoming me to Vodafone" with a new 18 month contract a new number and A RIDUCULOUS PLAN OF 100 FREE MINUTES AND 500 TEXTS FOR £30 PER MONTH.
I have subsequently spent about 3 hours on the phone to abusive and rude customer disservice staff stating that i am within the 7 days so they will cancel the new agreement, and they will upgrade early but it will be a 2 year contract (adding the remainder on) which defeats the object of the initial early upgrade loyalty bonus!!!!!!. Oh and it will be a 300 minute contract for £30 per month even though the current one is 500 mins for same price.
Or return the handset and wait till December as normal, but we have disposed of the old handset becuase it had an intermittent fault and was even useless to resell.
They admitted mis selling would you believe, but will not put it right. On that basis can i cancel all my contracts with Vodafone and get a PAC code without penalty !!
Any advice would be appreciated
