Erm, well definitely don't eat them - but they look nice so they count :) Mr S's garden has all sorts of bulbs coming up - we don't know what they are yet though!

Hurray! Isn't it nice to discover what bulbs are? Down here, we get *lots* of grape hyacinths self seeding, and they're so lovely - I lost quite a few when the wall was rebuilt, but I managed to save a few clumps.

I just remembered a plant thats very mse that might be good for the back of the garden - comfrey! Do you have any? It can get quite big, and you can use it to make your own fertiliser, so it saves a fair bit.

I think the bulbs are mostly tulips, although some are starting to look a bit like daffodils. Didn't think about grape hyacinths... we shall see!

I haven't got any comfrey, not sure if we have space for much more.. although I do want some nasturtiums and maybe some parsnips....

Not much news today, had another bad night's sleep thanks to next door neighbour's phone/ alarm going off at stupid times in the night/ morning. Grr.

I don't know how people manage to make so much noise just walking about - the ones above my flat are like that!

I erm, might have spent a bit more of my clothing budget - spent £15 on a jacket in the New Look sale http://www.newlook.co.uk/women/jackets_and_coats/blazer/1862582/186258204/productdetails.aspx?vid=1862595&language=en-GB - don't really have any Spring/ Summery jackets though so it was if not needed then will definitely get worn. Still within my £25 by the end of March target too :)

Ta! :) I did spend a bit more last night, not on clothes but me and Mr S had a bit of a 'household' shopping spree in Debenhams - I bought the tea cups :D

Quiet evening - had a big fry-up for tea, using up the last of our farmers market buys, then I almost finished the draught exluder I'm knitting. Wild night eh? ;)

Neighbour's alarm went off at silly time again - noise didn't go on for as long this time but still grrr!

Never mind, not long till the weekend, and it's sunny again!
