It can be unlocked as I had one done for my son,also O2.However it cannot be done remotely,Its by cable and logs.Paid £15 at my local market for my sons..Couple of quid cheaper buying a cable and log for yourself,but I honestly couldn't be bothered with the hassle.HTH0

Apart from unlocking it, you might want to get it debranded (this removes all the voda software) - the cost will be double the cost of unlocking it.0

any idea where you can get the cable?Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

A cable will cost around £10! (Plus around another £10 to use the appropriate server)
If you only want one phone unlocking, it's cheaper to take it to an "expert" - £15 is the norm.0
