Orange and T mobile both working, only in 1 contract! Help?!
Hi all,
After requesting my pac code from Orange,I went and signed up for a new contract with T mobile. Gave them my pac code, and they said it would be ported over today.
No problems with that, the number has been ported across to me new phone with T mobile and i can use it, have signal etc. Calls come through to T mobile phone.
The problem is my Orange phone has full signal and i can still use it to make calls, send texts etc. I checked my Orange account online and it says the account is closed, but i had to verify my number to log in and they sent me a code to my new phone with orange details.
When i make calls from either phone my name comes up on the person I'm callings phone, not a random number.
Very confused, as this hasn't happened in the past when i have ported numbers, one would end when the new one worked. Will my old contract with Orange just take a few hours to close down or has something gone a bit wrong somewhere? I'm panicking a bit as i don't want to be paying for 2 different contracts!
Any help, has anyone been in this situation? Who should I call? T mobile or Orange? (not very god at these kind of things!):o

I had this last time I ported a number, had two phones working on the same number for best part of a day- most strange!
The old network went dead at the end of the day, don't worry, give it a bit and it'll go off.0 -
Thanks i think i just needed someone else to confirm it would take a few hours!0
