    Hi everyone

Niceish here today, but not as glorious as stated, and breezy so keeping the temps down to fine.

As this is the only nice day forecast for the next few, decided to leave the paperwork and/or shops for carp days, and went for a walk down our local lane and picked 3lb of Blackberries, cleaned and cooked now, so ready for bagging for the freezer. Ordered a new freezer, the chest one we have inthe garage is old and probably not a good rating, so ordered a upright A rated one, fed up of losing stuff in the bottom of the old one. Should be here 2nd Sept. - delayed by us as we are away again, this time running a caravan rally to celebrate DH's 60th with our caravanning friends.

Smoky - Nic has checked Sunnygirl's FB account, but she is not posting there either, unsure whether it is the 'flu or no access during school hols, it is worrying though.

Off to sit in the sun and read, feeling very lazy today.

    Hi Everyone

Sistercas - could you send her a pm through facebook - she will then get an email - tell her we are sending our search parties soon.

MSD - i do live right on top of the water but we have very small stony beaches here so every so often we hed off to Frinton which is a lovely sandy beach. I also like going there coz there are no shops or kiosks so spent 0 today :j

Lillbet - at least they allowed me in :D yes sadly the residents fought to keep their gates but they were overuled and they have been removed. Love the houses on the way down to the beach - very nice.

Had a lovely day today - just need to go and remove sand from everywhere & unpack the picnic bag, phew it has been so hot today but we had a lovely breeze on the beach.

    Evening all

My goodness it has been hot today!!!!

Sistercas, DG and Smokey, I sent SunnyGirl a message earlier this week and have pm'd her on here too so she should have had emails to notify her, not really sure what else we could do. Just have to hope that it is because she is too busy.

Been a busy day at work today but tomorrow is my day off thank goodness. Got a chilli out of freezer this am for tea but far too hot to have that, so will keep it until tomorrow. We had salmon, HG new pots and corn on the cob instead - lovely:D

Loads of washing dried today but will be a pig to iron as too dry:rolleyes: Well it has been out on the washing line since 5.15 this morning.:rotfl::rotfl:
Shouldn't moan it is supposed to be raining tomorrow!

    Diva:hello:hope you are well.

    Have a good evening all

Got 2 loads of washing on the line. 2nd load not quite dry yet but will have to come in soon and go on the airer. will still have that lovely fresh outdoors smell though. made a berry crumble today and had it with cheap ice cream. lovely! also had a risotto and just chucked in loads of bits of veg/meat/etc. was really yummy, a good way to use up bits and bobs i think! was going to make bread once the boys were in bed but i just feel too tired, not used to this heat!
had my stitches out my back today. bit tender but nurse thinks it is healed up quite well :T scar looks huge to me though!
hugs to anyone who needs them
