dialaphone offers/cashback

http://www.dialaphone.co.uk/basket.aspx?addoc=24O225B156&qty=1&ins=1

just looking at this as an offer, being a relative novice in relation to contract phones, i don't want to be stuck with a butt kicking for the next 2 years.

if i'm reading this correct, it's 600 minutes to any destination/network right? then 20ppm if i go over that(really not likely to occur but best to cover all bases).

But how does this cashback offer work, is dialaphone really going to send me a cheque for 200 dabs for no reason?

thanks

Barry

    1) Yes

    2) No idea where you got "20ppm" from. Normally you pay by the minute/texts when you go over your limit so could be anything from 35p to unlimited £.

    3) As it says on the tin. They pay it from their commission. Its safer than having to claim but not as attractive financially, usually. However, you are a novice so stick with autocashbacks from a relatively safe dealer (this dealer is in fact now Phones4u).

    4) Print off a copy of the offer and any t&c at the point ofsale and keep them safe.

    5) Cancel the insurance and gadget helpline as soon as the phone arrives or you will get stung for those costs to.

    6) Order vai a cashback site (do your research) to get more than just the £200 back.

Hi, my daughter's just done a very similar deal through dialaphone after getting out of her Orange contract four months early. They were extremely helpful in sorting it out although I should warn you that O2 currently seem to be asking for a deposit of between £50 and £100 up front 'due to the credit crunch' even if you've got a fair credit rating. They refund the deposit after 3 months. I ordered her phone via Quidco cashback site, and £50 has tracked payable in October. The automatic cashback from dialaphone is sent after 28 days.

You're right aboout the call costs. You get 600 cross network/landline minutes included, and anything over that would be charged at 20p per minute. I'm fairly sure any 0845, 0870 etc numbers aren't included in the call allowance and I'm also pretty sure that picture messages aren't part of the unlimited text message allowance so you'd be charged 25p for each one.

    Hope this helps.

I Recieved my phone yesterday and wasn't asked for a deposit,I now have two contracts with 02,The new one via Dialaphone(for DD) and my personal one through O2.

    £18.33 (After redemption) for 18mnths
Sony Ericsson W705 (she won't have any other brand )
    400 anytime/any network minutes 500 texts
    Unfortunately no web bold on.

I did consider the sim only cashback deal from Quidco but the phone DD wanted was over £200 from trusted retailers cheaper from ones I had never heard of, I don't spend £200 for her birthday.

I also went through Quidco for the £50 cashback and it has tracked.
It is a birthday present and DD (turning 15) to contribute £10 an month for the duration of the contract.

I also noted that you have two months to send in each bill unlike others.
