How to get rid of a new buyer??

I sold a dress to a new ebayer (her feedback =2!) - I always ask for payment by paypal - anyway, when the auction ended, she e-mailed me a couple of days later asking me where to send the postal order.
I explained that I only listed payment by paypal, and she replied to say that she was sorry - she hadn't read it, and she didn't have a paypal account.
I relented, and said that as she was a new ebayer, it would be a lesson to her, but I would accept a postal order on this occasion.

She replied again to ask for the address to send it to, and I said that the address was on the invoice that I had sent her after the auction ended.

A week later, there is still no sign of the postal order, so I ask whether she has sent it yet - and she replies to say that she is still waiting for me to tell her where to send it.
I again say that the address is on the invoice, but give it to her again.

She has now sent quite a snotty message to say that I should check my messages more often, as she has asked me 3 times to send my address (she hasn't) - she also said that some other ebay invoices have gone missing......

I just want to get rid of her and sell my dress to someone else - I have tried to cancel the transaction, but now I have to wait for her to reply....
Is there anything else i can do??? (apart form block her?!?!)
Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??

If you log into ebay and go to the resolution centre you can flag the fact you have not been paid there. If it still remains unpaid for you can then cancel the sale and get your selling fees credited back.

I have a feeling that she will send the postal order now - but I think she'll leave me a neg - I'd rather just get out of it!!
Thanks for your help though - I love this place - it's sooooo knowledgeable!

If she sends the Postal Order, just post it back and open the unpaid item dispute.
If you hit her with an unpaid item strike, you can get any feedback she leaves removed.

Only if she fails to respond to the dispute. If she responds she can still leave feedback.

If she send the postal order, can I still open an unpaid item dispute?

I really wish I hadn't said she could pay by postal order now....!! I thought you had to have a paypal account to have an ebay account anyway???

Why not just do what she says and send the address?
    She's clearly new to ebay.
Much better to get a postal order (even if late) than have to faff around doing NPBs :)

  • are you sure the address is on the invoice ?
i think it would only appear if you listed other payment methods, i rarely see the seller address on invoices.
  • I've checked the last few invoices I received and none of them have sellers address on them.
