Only you can tell if it's love Doodles! Although I always think if you have to ask someone if it is love then it possibly isn't cos when it feels right it just feels right. That's not to say you won't love him or aren't on the way to that, just that it might take you a bit longer. It hasn't been that long since you broke up with your ex so you might be confused at the moment.

How long have you been with him?

Young folks I nearly spat my coffee over the laptop lol.

My problem is I feel like a teenager at times and then I have to remind myself I am a 33 year old single mum with a fat mortgage etc etc.

I sometimes wonder, why the heck he is even interested in me.

I have known him for about 6 months been with him more on a serious basis for about 3 months so very early days.

I feel like I have a whole load of brick walls around my heart

There is no harm in taking it slowly. He is obviously besotted though, which is lovely :rolleyes:

It sounds like he will wait for you to take your time and in the meantime enjoy all the butterflies and the honeymoon period!

Thanks everyone for your kind words and advice.

We have discussed my "issues" with trust, love etc etc and he has said he is happy to wait for me until my time is right. He doesn't put any pressure on me at all he just wanted to tell me his feelings to show he is serious about me.

He hasn't even met DD yet as not putting her into this situation until I am 100% happy there is a future, I mean I don't mean wedding bells etc but I promised myself she wouldn't be subjected to a load of random men coming in and out of her life. She will only come into the equation once I am 100% sure he is a keeper
