I've been asked by my boss to find a large commercial property (50,000 sq ft)!! Near a sub station (because of the power going OUT of the unit, not coming in) so as to keep installation costs down.........

Does anyone know where I might find out the locations of electricity sub stations in the MK area?

I know there is a sub station just outside Beachampton, going Nash way, There is units at nearby Potash Farm, but not sure if that is close enough for you, or even big enough!! If you look on google local you may be able to work it out.
I miss my mum every minute of every day  R.I.P xx

Thanks for all the help with this one - unfortunatly I am no longer working for the company involved :(
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

  • Hello,

I need to have some work done on my bike (pedal not motor). Can anyone recommend any bike shops in the Stony/Wolverton area , please ? I know of Cycle King in Stony but I don't know anything about them , so comments would be welcome.

    Thanks, M

My friend went there and they charged her privately to see the hygienist even thoughshe is NHS.

She felt cheated by this sharp practice

They have always been scrupulously honest with me, advising me in advance of both private and NHS options and the cost and pros and cons of each - in fact they go out of their way to make sure I understand and accept the cost before undertaking treatment. I also make sure I ask questions if anything isn't clear so I understand the treatment and the costs before I accept (just as I would when buying any other goods or service).

I have been there for a number of years and have had no problems and have managed to combine both NHS and private treatment. As it is my dental health, I take far more care to make the correct decision before undergoing any treatment.

Scale and polish is only available on the NHS when it is required to improve health of the gums - not for cosmetic reasons such as stain removal.

It's a shame that your friend had a poor experience - as mine had always been so positive (if positive is the right term for any dental visits  ).

The wrong end of the Stratford Road, but in my opinion you cannot go wrong with Roy Pink Cycles in Newport Pagnell.
Family business, have always given us a quote before doing anything

My experience with All Smiles has been the same as Swatties, infact my whole family are very pleased with them, and as a very nervous dental patient, I still can't fault them.

  • A very good private dentist who is excellent with nervous patients is
Dr Edney at Butterflies Dental Clinic in Stony Stratford.

I too have been to Gilmartin, only the once though (make of that what you will!)

    I'll second that!
we went to Phil Corley cycles (Stacey Bushes) to get DS#2 a helmet but they couldn't be LESS interested.
Roy Pink's were brilliant, AND I got my gears sorted on my bicycle. :j

Chaineys in Shenley Church End are an independant cycle shop which also have a repair service.. very good reputation. I have bought childrens bikes from there and they know their stuff.
