Sounds like a nightmare; village route for me then... Little Linford Lane from Newport or up through Haversham...

I'd be tempted to do this if I didn't think that half of the people I know from work (who all seem to live in Hanslope) would be browsing my old 'tat'!!

Is the Bowl car boot still on, or should I head for the Stadium:MK when I get my act together to finally do my car boot?

Im sure I read in the Citizen that the Stadium:mk's one starts again in September, Might be wrong though:confused:

You could try Arcana. They have a salon in Shenley Brook End and now in Crownhill.
I know some of you are looking for a mobile one and they may not be as cheap as that but they are cheaper than the likes of Zig Zags etc.
they done my wifes hair on the run up to our wedding.
There no. is 01908506392 and my wife gets her hair done by Michaela? spelling not right im sure.

Just to let all you buxom ladies know (and those of you who have buxom partners!); Bravissimo is due to open next week (at the moment). I'm keeping tabs on any opening offers or special goings-on - my mum's going to be working there so I'll get a heads-up on what's happening if and when it does.

I personally can't wait; Debenhams feels like a jumble sale and never has the sizes I want anyway!

We went there one evening and the queue to get in was out the door so we have never bothered going back!

We have been hoarding a mixed bag of heirlooms and suchlike, much of it dating back to the turn of the century, and almost all antique. The two main categories could be china plates and sets - Wedgwood mainly - and kitchenalia, which we feel should be worth something, along with the usual pictures, mirrors, books and stuff, which may not.

We don't want to just put them in a car boot sale, but without knowing of any specialist dealer who we could take the china or kitchenalia to, our only thought was a weekly auction in Bedford. However on checking it out, it seems that as well as fees when they sell, which is fine, there are fees on each item which doesn't sell. This could make for an expensive exercise as it doesn't appear to have specialist auctions.

I wonder if anyone out there can help with any advice.

I also have about 80 vinyl LPs, mostly 60s and 70s, if anyone knows a dealer in the area or within travelling distance.

    Thanks in advance.
