I have a feeling the last time we went past the talbot it had changed again to an indian restaurant...!

Indeed it has! Went there just over a week ago and definitely an Indian now. Not sure what the food's like though...

    Hi,

I hope you don't mind me posting this. But there is a screening of the film - The Business of Being Born, next week in Milton Keynes on 14th May. Details are available on www.saveindependentmidwifery.org

There is a charge, so not very money saving, but I thought it may be of interest to anyone interested in Childbirth etc.,

Anybody know a trustworthy person who fixes electrical appliances? My cooker needs repairing.

Can anyone recommend someone who would be able to do this please? The pump seems to have gone on mine - which is only a couple of years old but will be out of guarantee.

My usual electrician is so busy and this is only a small job. I need someone who will be able to come out very soon, as I'm on my course tomorrow and don't suppose I'll find someone until next week.

Is it better for me to buy a new shower or leave it to the electrician?

    Thanks for any help

    Hi,
Is there any Domino Pizzas in Milton Keynes that offer BOGOF? Where I used to live previously they had this deal nearly all the time. Can't seem to find it in MK

You may have already tried this but have you checked the following:
water not getting to the shower , isolating valves been turned off or air in the pipes ?
Fuse gone in the fuse box, pull cord switch turned off ?RCD powerbreaker tripped?
hope this may help ,dont know any sparks as used to do my own DIY before 2006 regs.

Yes I have tried all of those, so now have contacted Triton as they have a flat rate call out fee then either fix or order new one. Shame they can't do it until next week!

  • There is a jewelery shop in Bletchley that is closing down so has a half price sale on everything except the watches, It is opposite Somerfield 'Hatton Garden' or something like that, They have some very nice wedding bits in!!!
I asked the ladies when they do close and she said they dont know the date but it will be soon.

There are 2 Dominoes in MK. One in Kingston and one in Newport Pagnell. Not sure what deals they have but there are always codes on MSE for Dominoes.
