Would anyone happen to know a good garage that can provide a decent service to my VW Passat?? Its just outside of warranty so no need for the VW garage to see it now.

I use John Spademan in Stony Stratford for my Rover Metro and Ford Mondeo, and always been very pleased with the service. Probably not the cheapest, but I feel comfortable with them, if you know what I mean.

Can anyone recommend a Video player repair person (very PC aren't I?!). Can either be someone at home who fixes them or a shop that doesn't charge the earth??

These guys just repaired my TV. They were helpful and efficient. I don't know if they repair Video players though. They might... you can always contact them and ask. Hope this helps.

There's also a place in New Bradwell, on the High Street - the name escapes me. It's next door to the Dolphin Fish Bar. They've been there about 10 years now, and repair all sorts!

However, although I don't normally subscribe to a consumerist society, there's a £10 video player posted on the HotUKDeals site; that's got to be cheaper than repairing!!
