If any saw Dragons Den 3 weeks back you know a young lady Emily Webb pitching a oar handle and she said it can also be used for crutches
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dragonsden/entrepreneurs/emilywebb.shtml
if you go to 4.50 on dragons den iplayer clip she mentions grip for crutch

I been in touch with Emily when I saw it a few weeks back as my daughter uses a crutch the forearm type, she has two but uses one, this type

any way the handle help with grip and hopeful reduce blistering which my daughter can get after a day out
She emailed me today with news she has a web site http://www.oarsome-potential.co.uk/
I got her number if anyone wants to express any interest or wants to speak to hear just mention if here and I will PM you if you want to know more
Hello,
Thank you for your email.
Yes the Oarsome Potential Grips do fit over crutches, however I filmed
Dragons Den fairly recently- and there has not been any development with the
grip so far for crutches specifically.
However there is a lot of interest and we are asking people to bear with us
if there are any ‘teething’ problems! Such as the grips not quite fitting
for example.
The grips come in a pair and are £9.99 plus £3.95 for postage in the UK. We
aim to dispatch the goods within a week. We accept payment online, cheques
and BACS transfer.
You can place your order on the phone with me or one of the Oarsome
Potential Team, you can pay online or you can send me your address and
contact details via email and we can send the goods to you with an invoice.
Whichever way is best for you.
The grips come in different sizes so there would be a simple measurement to
take so we can ensure that we send the correct size out to you- this is the
outside diameter of the width of the handle of the crutch, so the grip can
slide over the top…I can talk this through with you if you like, but the
average diameter seems to be around 30-35mm.
I hope this helps,
If I can be of any further assistance please don’t hesitate to contact me on
the numbers below.
Best wishes,
Emily

I have no doubt whatsoever that your intentions were good, however once followed by a marketeer seeking to sell their product directly to the MSE Forum it took on a whole other different form.
NOTE : my reference was to your comment in a different thread "" Please don't recruit on here or ask people to PM you just in case it was because of that "" an not to the comment above.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I just thought I'd add that I tried these at the mobility roadshow in peterborough today and they are very good, I was surprised at how good the weight distribution was and therefore less hand pain, and the person who was given them to try said she noticed a lot of her shoulder and neck swelling/pain reduce after just 4 or 5 days of using them.
I will be looking in to getting myself a pair0
