our iva is with Grant thornton, who are not superb! had to really argue a missed (first one ever, and we had made extra payments in overtime earlier this year of over £1000) payment due extra costs of OH having heart attack and being in hosp, so had to have car repaired at garage vs OH doing it as usual.
Yes it is over six years, we had a variation last year which was agreed, we paid for 6 months then got a letter to say someone had rejected afterwards so we had to re do, then they added £30 and another year, I wanted to argue it but letter landed day after OH came home from hosp. that is why I would like to settle and get it over with OH really stressed by it all, doesn't want BR (all the usual people finding out reasons) and I know after spending a summer with 4 kids and not being able to leave the house except for food shopping, not being able to afford school uniform/equipment it cannot go on.
I would like to say when I moan about not going out I am not talking about expensive trips to theme parks or holidays, I accept we shouldn't have those things, we can't even afford the simple cheap outings.
