Sorry Sorry Sorry Sorry!!!! Is it really 5 months since I posted on my MFW diary? It feels like 2 minutes.....anyway an update is long overdue! We have continued to overpay steadily since the start of 2012, we have decorated most rooms...when I say WE, I mean I paid a polish lad I know and his mate who are decorators and they did a splendid job and completed it all to a goos standard in less than 2 days! the garden has being tidied up and we are just deciding on which EA to put the house up with!
Good to see everybody doing well and I hope anybody affected by the SVR increases dont find it too much of an increased burden?
On a seperate note it is 87 days to our wedding!Millionaire in Training

Next couple of months should see us hit 2 important milestones. My mortgage will reduce to under £39,999! to have my balance begin with a '3' after borrowing £55,000 just 7 years ago I will be really chuffed with!
It is the same with our joint mortgage which the balance should reduce to under £79,999 which will be a massive milestone for us in reaching the equity we require to get a decent deposit when we sell!Millionaire in Training

After a very quiet 2 months with the mintedmatty wedding we can now finally refocus on 3 items. My mortgage which i am pleased to say is now below the £39,999 mark! The joint mortgage which we are scrambling to reduce day by day as we begin to look at EA's to put the house up for sale.
We have just over £6,000 left over from the wedding fund which now has evolved into 'The new house fund'! The 6k has got the ball rolling. We are aiming to save around £1,000 per month but we are planning a 'maxi-moon' to South America before the end of the year (We had a few days honey- 'mini' -moon in the Lake District after the wedding). I also want to go to New York, if we dont go now little MM's will be on the agenda for 2013! and I also want to visit Tenerife before the year is out!
So thats a lot to cover and save for the new house! Wish us luck, the next 6 months are going to be interesting!
