I've just started using solid shampoos and conditioners from Lush - not particularly cheap (£3-4 each) but apparently they will wash 90 times. I haven't actually bought any yet, as I managed to get some free samples. I'm very impressed though.

I'm also thinking of making my own, but I have a feeling they might not turn out very well.

Now to get my husband to try the tea tree stuff rather than T-gel which sorts out his psoriasis

I'm trying to do the same. I think I just need to remove the Tgel from the house!

I'm gutted...the only shampoo I have ever had that doesn't cause serious head falling off dandruff requiring six months of special shampoo from the doctor, is one from DHC that costs £9 a bottle

I use the cheapest supermarket brand I can find. Presently this is Tesco Value @ 20 something p per litre.

I get dandruff occasionally so I add a crushed aspirin to ½ cup of shampoo then use normally. Dandruff’s gone in 3 days. :)

Ive been using ASDA's own pink one? an conditioner (big fat bottles ) the shampoo's alright, not great but does the job, but the conditioner is really good, really thick and makes my hair feel lovely, for 82p a bottle it will do me! but when i 1st started buying it 4/5months ago it was only 74p:rolleyes:, another victim of the credit crunch i fink:mad:.

is this the provitamin one? I agree this one is really really good.

However, from hanging out in 99p stores been using trevor sorbie and the likes for £1 a go you just have to be persistent- you will find :D
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

I sometimes use the Avon shampoo and conditioners, they're not bad. Have also tried tesco coconut one and it was good but I'll be getting the boots essential one to try very soon as I love pantene!

Try Aldi one 79p bottle - looks like a pantene type bottle, never had so many comments on the shiny looks and healthiness of my hair, always used tresemme before.

PS the aldi hairspray is great as well
Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.
