Hi there,some sort of virus attached itself to my contact list on hotmail,it took every single contact and said hi,view my new web site,https://www.catsearch.net.test,have scanned my computer and no virus is showing up,have McFee security suite,can't understand whats gone wrong,help?

This doesnt sound like a virus on your computer but that doesnt mean its not a virus it could be hotmail having been infected (VERY unlikely) or someone has simply hacked your account. I googled the URL and it looks like junk mail of some description but there is a similar problem with an explanation here http://ask-leo.com/could_the_hotmail_servers_be_infected.html Hope this clears it up a bit0

If in doubt run a couple of the online scans listed in one of the pinned posts here. One is Housecall. If this comes up clear then it isn't any KNOWN virus
That's not to say you could have been unlucky and gotten hit by a new variant...
