My daughter is getting married to her girlfriend on Feb 13th. :j Her g/friend is going to wear a cream dress and my daughter is going to wear a red dress. My daughter has dark hair so the red will look stunning on her and her girlfriend is blonde. They are both going to look amazing. Plus, the red and white will complement their Valentine theme perfectly

My sister wore a traditional wedding dress and her wife wore white trousers and a long coat with train - like the green one Camilla had! The coat buttoned down to hip length so she only had a vest top on under it and at the reception took the coat off and put a nice black top on instead (their colour scheme was black, white and green)
The trousers and coat were made to measure from the same material so can't help with stockists, I'm afraid.

Fresh start ahead. 26/03/10 will soon be here

Hope you have an amazing day! Take lot's of pics as I found my 'big day' went so quickly and I seemed to be in a bit of a daze!

I like the red jacket, white trouser suggestion, with some matching red shoes and a white corsage! Lovely! Will look lovely with your dark hair, and contrast nicely with you wife-to-be's dress!
As far as woody's disgusting prejudice goes, I'm sure (sadly) you have had to deal with others who are as ignorant and pathetic as he, but just to re-iterate that his opinion is in the minority and most MSE'ers are very helpful.0 -
I wonder if you could ask a seamstress to make you an outfit? It might not cost as much as you think. If you have a shop called Roman near you they do a good range of wedding outfits, trousers, jackets etc.
Would love to see your pics!
I wish you all the best for your Big day and the future you are going to have, marriage is hard work but worth it, finding the one person you want to spend the rest of your life with is a wonderful feeling.0 -
Congratulations

A couple I know recently had a civil partnership ceremony, one wore a white summery dress with deep blue embroidery on it and the other girl wore a deep blue gown. They looked amazing!0 -

At least three people were talking about marriage and weddings between women.
Its NOT prejudiced to suggest that these, in NO WAY, SHAPE or FORM are marriages.
No - just insulting, inflammatory, discriminatory, and bigotted.
To be technical, it is a civil partnership, not marriage, but that is the commonly used and accepted terminology.
However, your comments are rude and derogatory to those in same-sex relationships.
And before you start on me, I am not in a same-sex relationship and am not a Guardian-reader (the Times, actually). Nor am I involved in equality and diversity in a professional capacity.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I don't think the troll needs any comment so on with the outfit...
I think both in white can look lovely. Did you see the photos of Ellen Degeneres & Portia? http://ellen.warnerbros.com/photos/2008/08/ellen_and_portias_wedding_day_4.php
You can wear trousers and still look feminine too. Either something nicely tailored to show off your curves, maybe with a waistcoat top (as in the sort you don't wear a top underneath), or something a little more flowing.
I hope you have many many years of happinesshey there's no money but we couldn't be happier if we tried
