Have you thought about wearing a contrasting dress to your OH - maybe in the same dark red as the hotel decor - would look great with your dark hair.

Hope you have a fab day xx
OP I agree with Maggie...that would look fab:D And if you prefer trousers how about a trouser suit in a deep red colour?!?!?

Good luck on the day and all the best for your future together:D xx

I like the idea of red, if you can match the shade. Have you discussed it with your girlfriend? Why don't you discuss together what would be best to compliment her dress, but that you feel comfortable in - if you don't want a matching white number.

please please any form of advice will be great or just help with were to shop. i have looked in next and popped to trafford centre but havnt seen anything i would want to wear.

Why not try making an appointment with the personal shopper at John Lewis or Debenhams at the Trafford Centre, and see if they can help? You don't have to buy what they show you (unless you can afford it and really love it!) so no obligation!

I think the idea of a dark red sounds lovely, especially if you have a white corsage to complement your GF's dress.

Ooo, also like the red dress idea. Maybe you could have opposite coloured bouquets? With your hair it sounds as if it could be lovely.
Hope you have a fab day!
Our friends were CP'd a month ago and they had a fantastic day, so full of love and excitement at their new lives together (and no derogatory comments or nastiness in sight!)
    Good luck!

Woody01 reported for abuse. I like the idea of a red dress - red can look stunning with black hair. Have a great day OP!

    "I do like them.
This thread though is totally devoid of that gender"

Hang on.......this thread is all men pretending to be women? Or just men taking an interest in a wedding outfit? I'm very confused

Thank you Woody for drawing this to my attention - I would have happily gone on giving someone advice on an open forum without knowing the facts  If it weren't for arbiters of morality like you it'd be hell in handcarts all OVER this site - phew!!

Listen you adorable little trolly-wolly, if you find the people here so repugnantly beneath you why don't you waddle back to your bridge, or alternatively find a site full of more like minded people? I hear the Daily Mail's a cracker *tickles silly Woody under the chin*.

Woody your just a homophobe go and be one somewhere else not here where someone is asking for advice. Your out of order.

OP, The dress dress idea is quite nice or maybe a cream suit with a red blouse :)
