So ill! Went out last night to my nanas social club and drank WAY too much, was supposed to be going out with my friend today aswell, that's been cancelled, I feel sick as soon as I stand up. I think I would of been okay if I had managed to eat the chinese I bought on the way home, but I lost it? I do remember having it at one point though.

    Hope everyone is well.

Lunch break.. Dad's downed tools due to the GP being on!

Rhys has been really good all morning. Put him on his playgym and OH put Radio 2 on for him (he seemed to like it in the hospital!) and he's been jigging away to the music :D Will put him down for a nap and buy us a few more hours, I think..

Making good headway although we seem to have found a hell of a lot of clothes (and the wardrobes aren't empty!) so need to spend some time this week going through them all, sorting what we want and what's to be binned / go to charity and then do all the washing and potentially ironing!

Finally got OH to part with the damn table he's been hanging on to for forever.. He thought his mum wanted it but didn't have the heart to ask her, then when I made him text her earlier she said she wasn't bothered and just to scrap it!

Got plenty to go on FreeCycle and eBay too. Just need to make myself do it so that it goes and doesn't just stay cluttering up the place! :o Job for tonight..

For now, back to sorting and clearing.. :) xx

ooh we have a few scots in here!
We usually ask newbies a few questions to get to know you

How many kids, ages, how are they doing with pooping/toilet training, how do they sleep

I prefer the other lady who asks the questions, she has much more flare ;):D

MFD - i was going to ask you about what you had benjamin bib wise when he was sitting in the highchair. i just use normal bibs but little girl of course likes to follow the food in her mouth with her fingers and it ends up everywhere (although i am getting quicker with the wipes by the day). i don't have an iken that close so am going to have a nose around and see if i can find something similar

Ooo - a fairy could visit Ikea on Tuesday before she goes to the post office...fairies like Ikea :D
    ;)

I bought a load of flannels and we have a flannel at the ready for every feed too. Much better than using a ton of wipes at 1.5p each (or whatever!!)

Hello everyone! We went to see a comedy hypnotist last night - it was good but I swear that they must buy their act as a franchise...he did exactly the same as the last one we saw!

Caz, hope abi feels better and enjoys her party.

MM, Rose has a turned in little toe too. She doesnt hold her fist closed but has been fascinated by her hands since she was born. Was funny watching her in special care, looking at her hands constantly. She also doesnt push herself up at tummy time too. She can hold her head okay on my chest but wont entertain it on the floor at all.

What im trying to say is i think most of what you describe is normal and they all do things at their own pace. Try not to worry. I know its easier said than done, especially after being in SCBU. Rose didnt smile till about 13 weeks and i was getting worried but we cant stop her now. Im sure all you describe is normal x

ETA, FG hope you're feeling a bit better today x

  • When we got home last night hubby and I had a lovely long chat about our life together now and how much it has changed and the things that we love about our new life and miss about our old life. I was brave enough to broach the subject about maybe having another child one day, I have been absolutely convinced that hubby would say no, but he isn't entirely against it and said we should sit down and talk about it properly in the near future once my work has sorted itself out one way or another.

I didn't realise how much I wanted another baby until hubby said it might be a possibility, I was so convinced that he was going to say no!

    I feel like this :j:j:j

    Random Qu..
Anyone ever iced a cake themself?
I'm thinking of doing Eds myself but that's the only bit I've not done before, I usually just do buttercream topping but I want it to look 'proper'
