It is the sort of thing I don't want to google - it is usually best to avoiding googling rude words!!

Nappies - these size 4 ones seem to be getting a bit small, but the size 5 ones say from like 30lb+. I'm not stupid enough to be doing nappies up wrong am I? You'd think I'd be alright at it, I changed 50+ a day for a while!

That is one thing I'm dreading, at what age do they discover 'it'?

Oh, and anyone had any experience of ballooning ones when urinating? GP and HV said to just keep an eye on it, but I'd be reassured if someone has heard of it or experienced it.

Yes - heard of it though never seen it. Not necessarily a problem but needs to go away over time, worth reading up about maybe.

They discover it to some extent as soon as they can reach and grab things... I know what Elijah reaches for when his nappy is off, anyway
Obviously it's a fair while before it's much more than one more toy :p
  • Have you tried the 4+ or any of the pull ups, wouldn't recommend a pull up for night though.

well ur GP and HV are a bit dim :p
It's totally normal hun, I've seen it, its because the skin doesn't get to its proper loose state until up to 4yrs so sometime when they're little it fills up when they do a big wee

My little cousin was obsessed with his winky, always had his hand down his pants from about 18mths, luckily Chris is a good boy and listen to me when I said you only touch it to clean it or do a wee :D

I tried one of the size 5's I've got, and it was a little big, but not a huge amount. It just seems ridiculous that he can be wearing them at four months. He is quite short and chubby though, but he isn't anywhere near 30lb!
