Mobile phone insurance - do you get blacklisted for claiming?

Hi everybody

I seem to have knackered my phone's camera after dropping it recently. Thing is, my contract only has a couple of months to run, and after that I want to switch provider to get an iPhone.

Would it jeopardise my credit rating, or any other insurance-type rating, to make a claim on my mobile insurance? I want my phone replaced or repaired, cos I miss the camera (even for a couple of months) but not at any expense. I know that a lot of people abuse mobile insurance when they want a new one, which is why I ask.

Your credit rating has nothing to do with any insurance claim.
