My hotpoint fridge freezer is doing the same thing, I think. Fridge far too cold, costing a fortune to run. Question is, repair or replace. Only a few years old, already been repaired once. As the old saying goes, buy cheap, buy twice!0

any engineer that advsies you to buy hotpoint/indesit needs avoiding! i sell their appliances and wouldn't touch them if they were free, they used to be good but now are dreadful0

Bit OT but I've got a Daewoo ERF385 Bought three years ago and the freezer drawers have all fallen to bits and daewoo want £30 per new drawer!
avoid them too!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

its a deliberate ploy by daewoo, the plastics they use are quite cheap and they know they shatter over time, therefore they make more money selling you some more. a few companies do it, samsung are another one0
