I use gift quite a bit and have never had to pay fees, but of course if it is for a transaction for goods then you have no protection.

Its just for transferring between paypal accounts. Thanks
  • Gift is completely free- we have several accounts and aren't charged for swapping between them- even when the balance was on nothing and it came out of a debit card.
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p

Today 91 days after I sent the item it has been returned to me marked in another language delivered twice, not collected, return to sender.

So conscience is pricking me how can I refund the buyer for this item? He has paid me approx £12 for the item plus postage I now have it and he doesn't. I am only a private seller and I was selling off some vintage stuff so I have not kept details etc.

I agree with other posters, you should send him a refund, BUT I think you should only refund the purchase price. Why should you be out of pocket because they didn't collect it from their sorting office?

Thanks for all you advice, will email him and advise that I am refunding minus the postage costs. Don't want to risk sending it again in case I get it back again!
