csa payments

apparently it means its not on their computer system so they have to do it using a different method (ie. going through my employer). i told them that their systems are not my problem but they sais thats the only way. I would understand if i wasn't paying at all!!
JMT - My case is clercial too. Also switch from payment direct to PWC to CSA (at PWC request) in May 2009. I pay by standing order and this was the way the CSA asked for it to be set up. Although they did ask for DD, but I declined.
Also - have a compliant track record. I have always paid even when I know the amount is wrong. I've seen my DPA details and know that they have a "compliant" status on their systems - I think they use this to work out how to deal with "clients".
My advice would be to go for a SO or DD (after all with a DD they can still get at the money without you having to do anything).0 -
This has now been resolved...sort of. I have had to pay a big chunk of arrears off and she has agreed through the csa to have the money paid to her direct (which is really very nice of her!?!). I asked the person at the csa, 'whats stopping her from changing her mind and doing this again' and they said 'nothing'!! i will be writing to complain to the csa.
at least i know how it feels to have no money like her now.....but then again i have a job!
I also believe she is claiming benefits whilst receiving my money, is that fraud??0 -
She can claim benefits whilst receiving maintenance but she has to contact the benefits people and declare the amount, so they can adjust her benefits amount. If she hasn't notified them of how much she is getting off of you then she is committing benefit fraud.August GC 10th - 10th : £200 / £70.61

Complain on what grounds? You missed a payment, someone stated you only need to miss just one payment for a DEO to be used as payment collection method by the CSA.

Perhaps in future you'll ensure you won't miss anymore payments (not even one, especially if she isn't working and is supporting your child) I would have taken the same action as she did, but given you the opportunity first of paying the missed payment. There are always two sides to the coin. At the end of the day, you missed a payment and didn't make any type of agreement to pay the missed payment to the PWC, or did I miss something? So, she went to the CSA. As for the comment about her not having a job, how old is the child?

Glad to hear you will be able to pay by SO. Good result. Take it from those of us who have had lots of trouble with CSA, make most of your correspondence to them in writing. Telephone calls are ineffectual in my experience (different people tell you different things and leave you confused), and quite often you get inaccurate information, as you feel you did.0 -

What are you talking about?!? i never missed a payment nor do i intend to miss a payment!! maybe you should read all the information before replying to threads...
as for the job situation, she had one, now she doesn't, whether she left of her own accord or was pushed i am un sure.0 -
I think playinghardball is referring to the arrears you accrued. But this was before the CSA was set up so they really had no reason to demand a DEO when the OP was paying on time from the time the CSA case was in force.August GC 10th - 10th : £200 / £70.61

i was paying the arrears as instructed by them, the reason there were arrears in the first place is because they took so long to sort out the case.0

in your dreams fella, now the CSA have got you you are !!!!ed, expect a huge bill for some made up arrears anyday soon through the post followed shortly after by a liability order then some bailiffs, the CSA are he most corrupt organisation i have ever had the misfortune to experience , they are nothing to do with child welfare and all about making money for the governbent, please put any savings you have into somebody elses name and sign everything you posess of any worth into somebody elses name, they will come for you soon enough, sounds dramatic i know but its all too true for many people0
