I'd personally have got the tickets before telling him that I wasn't going....

Maybe he thinks you've bought the ticket off him just to try and make a profit by selling it on, I might be wrong but someone has done that with me but after a chat we agreed to split any profit.

If that's not the case and he's going not going to give you the ticket or your cash back then I would personally pay him a visit with some of my closer friends and take it from there.

It could be that he is upset that he now has no one to go with now that you have dropped out. Perhaps he is trying to stall you while he tried to find someone else to take your place. Have you asked him for a reason why he wont give you it? (But I dont know this, as I dont know the situation, only you do.)

There is a group of people going so i'm definately not leaving him in the lurch to go on his own. Going to go round and see him tomorrow and see if we can work something out, as otherwise I do like the facebook idea.
