Morning! Had to pop in - I got back at 10pm last night after the *other* do, but even so, Wol's lovely celebration is very much on my mind. It was wonderful - I met so many people in RL that I'd met on here, plus others whose names I knew but hadn't "met" them, plus Wol's RL neighbours and friends. It was amazing, a perfect do, that felt so right, and so relaxed. This is what life *can* be - I'm determined to stop hiding away after this weekend! Even at such a celebration as this, life can go at my own pace, with lovely, accepting people such as these. Wol, you made a wonderful space, a wonderful opportunity for us all to be together, and I know that the level of support you had from Numpty, Smashed and many others like Z contributed fantastically to it as well. I won't forget this weekend, it was absolutely gorgeous.

Well, we have now said goodbye to both Horace and Z this morning and Numpty and I have had our first sit down since last sunday, watching the piggies out in the runs :D. Bless him he has worked his furry paws off all week in order to get everthing ready - Numpty hun you are :A:A:A:kisses2:

Wow! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j - I'm so glad you all enjoyed yourselves....it was absolutely great seeing so many people.....and a big thank you to all of you who had the worst nightmare of a journey down on friday :( :T:T

The weekend has been marvellous (even though it included two hangovers :o)

Friday night a few () people came to visit for dinner - a lovely way to start off the weekend..... Estimated arrival times were meant to be between 3 and 5 pm - I don;t think anyone arrived until after 6.

Smashed, Taxi and DD2 finally arrived after an 8 hour journey at 6.30pm on friday and had to be prised out of the car with a crowbar (:eek:) Luckily however once she'd been revived with a glass of wine and a listen to Michael Buble, Auntie Smashed set about producing the most lovely Yorkshire puddings :D.

Z sent a rather choice text message about moving my location further north :p:p..... but he too managed to get down here safely as did Tixy, so dinner was till on time

Then from 7am onwards the following day - Aunty Smashed and the merry bunch of DFW's furiously chopped, mixed, stirred, wrapped, organised in order to have everything ready in time :T:T. while Z and Numpty did manly things outside ...with stereos, computers, lighting, alcohol and finally flames

Then more DFw's and a whole load of friends.....and of course the top totty builders turned up ;)....and Aunty Smashed did all the BBQing and didn;t stop until about 7pm - she too is :A:A:A.......I love you Hun :happylove.....and Z was the [STRIKE]Bar-steward[/STRIKE] Wine waiter ;)...(.so he is to blame for all the hangovers :p.).......thank you Z :A:A :A:kisses2:

The Rave finally got really going about 4pm and i think I shooed the last people off to bed at 2am on sunday morning :beer:

Then of course there was the clearing up :(......(and batch cooking the leftovers :money:....sausage casserole last night :D). A big thank you to Z, Numpty and Horace for helping me put everything back to rights yessterday.:kisses3::kisses3::kisses3:

I am still feeling very emotional about it all - and I'm very glad you were all here to share The Restoration Rave with me :T:T
I'll post more later on today - but right now I just need to zonk out for a bit:)

Once again a big big thank you to all of you :smileyhea:smileyhea

PS Piggies say it was really nice to meet everybody (thank you Aunty Tixy for the dandelions ) - but actually we're quite glad to have our lawn back now thank you :rotfl:

Very relieved to hear that I didnt miss the top totty stripping too ... I am seriously considering having my place totally rewired now , & no Z, that isnt a euphemism or any of those other clever words beginning with E :p

Well so long as you know what's involved in a rewire.

You have your private areas stripped, and the coverings pulled down and then it's pulled out. Then after that there's a little bit of chasing to be done, then it's shoved in. All over the place since you want the best one.

Then of course the screwing starts - you've got to make sure it's tight, and won't fall out at a most inopportune time.

Main problem with a total one, is that it gets rather dirty. But I'm sure that must be OK with you, otherwise you wouldn't be wanting one...

Oh, and the dress has given in and given way. Thank god it held up until I got home. I blame it on the bouncy castle x x x

Both bouncy castles or just one?

Evening all - I got home at around 5pm but I did go out to get milk and have been catching up with tons of emails.

Thanks Wol for letting me visit your lovely home and to Numpty too for giving me tips about the coach and both of you for seeing me off at the bus stop...the bus home went via the M40 which was a far better route than the M1.

I don't want to see another vegetable for at least a week:eek:

Thanks to Auntie Smashed for the loveliest yorkie puds I have ever eaten (please may I have the recipe?). Thanks too to Z for being wine waiter extraordinaire thankfully I managed to climb the stairs last night without too much difficulty although my legs were a bit wonky from slurping fizzy stuff last night (wonders..why fizzy grape juice has that effect?)

It was great seeing everyone..anyway I feeling rather peckish so may wander to the chipshop for some chippy chips.:D

Extra credit to Smashed for being in charge of the bbq (not to mention your delicious eaton mess), Numpty for all the hard work on the house & carpets and Z for being the perfect drinks waiter!!

And yourself for being the perfect drinks drinker... ;)

Lula you'll be pleased to know that you didn't miss top totty stripping after you left. He still maintained his (terrified) distance from all the gawping ladies!! :D (obviously not me, never been known to gawp :p).

He did say later there was one slurping... ;)

But a round of applause to you Tixy, for being an absolute star and a gem beyond compare.
