Hi, all I know it doesn't affect my figures percentage wise, but i have just recieved a neutral feedback from someone who has brought an item from me, and it obviously doesnt fit them, I advertised the item as the size stated inside the item and the item fit me, I am true to size. Buyer has neutralled on the basis it doesn't fit her but fits her child and says I should have advertised as childs top?? Top was not a childs, just a small size, buyer didn't even contact me!!!!!!!!
Can this comment be removed as buyer is being seriously unreasonable, if so how do I go about it?
Thanks

Just move on. Ebay wont remove it and it does not effect your overall ratings. The buyer has left feedback that they think is justified and reflects there experience (even if its not) A few sales down the line and you will have forgotten all about it0

ebay won't remove it but you can leave a reply to the feedback0

It can offect the seller performance rating a little, but not enough to do you any serious harm. I'd also keep an eye on the expanded seller dashboard though to see if they have left any 1 or 2 * ratings in any category.
Keep an eye on your expanded seller dashboard that will identify if you have any 1 or 2 * left in any category, but be warned it can make worrying reading.
Go into my ebay > hover your mouse over the account tab at top > click on seller dashboard > scroll down page until you find Buyer satisfaction >click on See how eBay calculates your rating.and that shows if anyone has left a 1 or 2 * in last 30 days. It only updates every couple of days though.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You're true to size? Wow, I wish I was... my size varies from shop to shop!My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Have you been thinking about your ESD on Holiday?!
I got home at 2 am this morning and logged into ebay straight away to check my stats..... (kidding, I did check for any questions though)

This happened to me a couple of years ago, almost exactly the same reason given as well.
*edit* Just found ititem size stated m. bought 4 my daughter 16, wud just fit my daughter who was 11
I just left a response saying that it fitted me and I was the size I listed it as.0 -
Sizes differ from shop to shop, I can be a size 10 in one shop and 14 in another:rolleyes:
I recently sold a jacket for my son, still had all tags size original price etc, I listed the length of sleeves, length from collar to hem and across the chest just so there would be no come back. The buyer then emailed me to say the jacket didn't fit him so couldn't be the size stated (although the shop sizing was attached) but did fit his friend and he was a lot smaller than him. He did say he would leave me very good feedback, which he did,
It seems you cannot please some people no matter how much detail you put in listings, some just like to moan for the sake of it.2011 Sealed Pot Challenge #1238 hoping for £250 ~ saved £743.32
2012 Sealed Pot Challenge #1238 hoping for £250 ~ saved £435.75

Thanks for your helpful replies, it seems theres just no pleasing some, I just left a reply on the feedback, after the person, who had not bothered to contact me said item should have been listed as childs clothing!
I just put it fit me, size 8-10 and was purchased from a ladieswear shop and that I didnt realise the brand did kids clothes.
Nevertheless I have no children, so Im not in the habit of buying from kids shops!!
Why can't these people just email if there's a problem?
Sometimes I don't think there is, its just something for them to moan about! If I had a problem with something I'd want to let the seller know, but this idiot just neutrals and negs everyone!:D0 -

Surely it's in their best interest to message first? I would have offered the lady who left me a neutral a refund (on return) if they'd got in touch with me:rolleyes:
