Well I have been told twice on the phone and once by the man who changed the meter that I need to wait 4 weeks and then give them a reading. My electricity consumption is virtually the same all year round.

Sometimes I wonder whether they actually read their own information  they should be asking you if you have records. Anyway, if you do have the details, and the figures look low (you probably use a bit more lighting in the winter, but it won't make a huge amount of difference), and you want to set the DD higher than they suggest then do. If you've got your annual consumption you can go and search for the best deal now anyway, as the DD is irrelevant to that investigation!

    ((((hugs)))) johanne

Juliejim - sorry if this has already been tried but Lush do a deodourant block which doesn't contain aluminium - it hasn't got a really strong smell either. If you want to try it i've got some I could send you because I was allergic to it. Not a very good advert but then i'm allergic to most stuff. I cut a bit off and used that so the bit that's left isn't contaminated! :rotfl:

Oh god - Im so sorry to all of you who have lost pets....

    A Prayer of comfort from
    your Beloved Pet . . .

    Thank you for your love
    and all your special care.
In your hands, I never had to worry
    for you were always there.

    Up here in Pet Heaven
    although I jump and play,
I miss what I had with you
as it was special in every way.

I will keep watch over you
    as I romp and roam.
    This place is really wonderful
    much like our loving home.

That's so lovely, it made me cry! Thanks for posting it. I showed it to my dd as she's really missing our cat and it made her smile.

Mudbath some people do take cats with them....
    !

Not sure I could cope with two children, DH, a stripey puppy and two kittens in a four berth van - I suppose I could get rid of the children and DH :D xx

Thank you all so much for your thoughts, mails, and kindness over Rosie, she has come to join us for a bit. <<< :D I hope no one minds.

He and Rosie were not best mates but did tolorate each other, just before I took Rosie to the vets, he went and sat next to her, looked at her, and sort of touched noses with her, almost as if he was saying goodbye.......................

    .

That's a lovely photograph. When we had our diabetic puddy put down the other one came to say goodbye even though they barely tolerated each other. The one that was left really developed her personality once he'd gone - stubborn and everything on her terms....we did love her!

    Massive hugs xx

Pigpen - you win on the children's rooms! Today, i've been in his room three times and it's been messy. I just take his Alex Ryder CDs and amazingly it's tidy again in minutes! Little monster!!!

Busy day working and then went to piccies - 3D G-force - it was so, so, so good! I think the children enjoyed it too :rotfl::D.

Flying wise - one load of washing, s/s, cleaned up dog sick, washed dog beds and now i'm going to de-clutter the garden of dog agility stuff. DD is training stripes to jump through hoops, jump obstacles and weave through poles. It's got the double bonus of wearing them both out!!!

Speak soon and hugs to everyone xx

I shall have to go and make my bed shortly so I can get in it.

DD is starting Brownies so that'll be the next expense sorting out a uniform for that and DS is desperate to start Beavers but he can't start until he's 6 which is next month. Why Beavers starts at 6 when Rainbows starts at 5 I don't know.

Does anyone want a pair of Thomas pjs aged 2-3? Will they fit Jacob yet piggers?

I bought some more trouser hangers today - 5 for £4.99 in the clearance section at Argos so well chuffed. So tomorrow I'll be able to hang the rest of my trousers up!

I suppose I'd better go and make my bed.
