greenbee what a gem your Dad is, that said mine probably would if he was well enough bless him
merlin what a wonderful job to do, I was told the same about the Typhoon, BBMF my friend flew with before he went on the Hercs
Bonsibabe, at a guess the price you'd get from them wouldn't be worth the fuel in going, I think it works out something like under 1p each
Rach that is really nice, nice price too, wonder what cashback there is for Debenhams.....actually I don't steam enough to justify it's shine...:( but I now know there is a sale on, oooo...Denby Jet how nice, but think I best stick with my IKEA naff while the kids are still breaking them (ok ok I break the odd few too....)
Piggers I forgot to say well done earlier I think, so well done, not just a looney but a very smart looney
One thing I have just thought about in the new house, tiny window ledges.....so that means less dumping space on there!
Need to have a quick clean/tidy in a mo, DP back tonight then we're out from **blinks** 7am, a time I haven't even been dressed by for weeks..Think I will make some sandwiches ready for tomorrow, probably should pack the car to be honest so it's ready for just DSs stuff to go in.
DP has managed to move the washer, cooker and sofas.....just mentioned the fact he hasn't cleaned them down before moving them and the cooker/washer were in his dirty garage, oh great, part of me wishes he had not bothered, now all the muck is in the new house! One day I might be more organised...........

I took him for a 5 mile walk, and now he's just mowed the lawns, sawn up an old door and chopped down a dead rosemary despite me telling him to sit down and read the paper!
I've just made up the spare bed with sheets & a blanket for him in return - as it's a double bed that's up against the wall it's pretty hard work! Then we're having roast lamb with carrots, courgettes and beans (both the latter from his garden) followed by figs (also from his garden - he brought plums too!).
My brother is over tomorrow morning to pick up fruit, veg and some certificates which he can put up in his new consulting room. Hopefully we'll go for another walk too. And at some point I'll finish my flying0 -
PP - is your new avatar your pig share? Looks lovely whatever it is. DH wont let me have pigs. Liking the invisible writing too! Beating me by a long way now- we were neck and neck for ages too till work got in the way.
Greenbee - very envious of the figs. Our local garden centre had some fan trained fig trees the other day for £40, must check on Crocus as that seems like a lot to me, and I just cant justify it at the moment.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Evening all
Enjoyed reading all the posts about planes, my DS is in the RAF and he works on Harriers.
Dried a load of washing today, luckily before it rained a little.
Took the dog out to the common (we have to go in the car because she can't walk all the way there and walk round). It was really odd, normally there are loads of people over there, mostly with dogs, but we didn't see another soul. It was quite eerie at about 2 in the afternoon.
Hope everyone's OK.0 -
Hi all,
went to see NOF for part of the afternoon -little outings take far more out of me than I think it will - so having a quiet evening - there is the makings of a noisy party through the wall so i might have a very early night if it gtes too bad and hope the bedroom is quieter.froddington wrote: »I am in the process of writing a 101 in 1001 list (someone on here mentioned it a while back) as I've decided I need to sort myself out and have some goals or plans in my life - and it [STRIKE]might [/STRIKE]will make me get out and do stuff as well as help sort me and my house!
bonsibabe - she might not be best pleased if she found out you were getting money for them - you can use her overflow but I myself wouldnt ask her for all of them - I think i would feel obliged to give her some of the money - but thats just me honey!
