I'm going to but mainly so all my bridesmaids can meet each other, I suspect we may spend more time in the wetherspoons just outside than in the hall itself!

hi strawbwerries , sorry i meant the NEC one , really looking forward to it ,
never been to one before , been to a few craft fairs there , and that was
huge , they had to shut doors for a bit cos people were fainting as there
were too many in , hoping the atmosphere is a little more relaxed for this
and not so crowded

I went last year and was slightly disappointed :0/
There was no bridesmaid dresses there, all the stalls seem pretty much the same thing and the drinks was very pricey. for a small (i mean small little bit bigger that a minature size) bottle of wine it cost £9..... may have change this year but i certainly wont be going again x

I went to the London Olympia show earlier this year (Birmingham was a bit too far
) and was really dissapointed.
It looked like they only used half the hall, the only dress area that was interesting (and busy) was Berketex and all the suppliers were for the London area and not interested in covering Sussex.
The OH and I spent only 1.5 hours there, which isn't very long for £12 each.
I think the local shows are far, far better. The are usually free (or £2 each) I usually get a bag of goodies and all the suppliers are local.
I use this website to look for local shows: http://www.yoursussexwedding.co.uk/index.cfm
On the left hand side of the homepage you'll see a section for going to the website for your local area. I've also found its one of the best magazines as its all local information
