RMC ..I think that it'll have a positive effect on my recovery as well as it has brought so much relief from different angles.
Being debt free means that we do not have to be under such pressure to earn as much...those 3 loans were costing and 2 ccs were costing us over £900 p/m in min payments and then I used to make overpayments...that's all well and good when we're both working but very hard with DH working the cab on his own.

DH quite rightly thinks that we should live on the money he brings in and pay all bills and treats out of that and save up for house repairs etc...and I totally agree with that.

Due to not having a build up of funds in the bills account and the fact the pits is due this month and the taxi insurance beginning of september...the lump sum is there if absolutely needed but after that can be totally forgotten about as once we have built an emergency fund in the bills account then we are sorted to move forward with building up the lump sum and paying the mortgage off

I'm so pleased you can balance it all out like this, Taxi - ye gods, £900 a month that you don't have to earn now! Astonishing.

    Morning all,

not got much planned today...just need to bank takings and get a loaf of bread...am going to start making my own again from next week.
    post a couple of cards

need to bring accounts up to date.

Can you believe someone from the job centre has just phoned about me going in for an interview to see if there is anything to help me get back to work...wanted to know if i can go in august....how am I meant to know?.....had to explain to her that I may be having chemo, radiotherapy or hospital appointment...she now has to speak to her supervisor to see if it can be deferred !!!!
How on earth do these people stay on benefits for years?....
If I was fit for work then I would be at work....I don't need their help to go to work.

These people! How dare they do that to you! I know its just one phone call, but still.... as to how people do it, Taxi, they lie, they lie like rugs, to the DWP, to their doctors, to employers, they delay, all sorts of things, there's a real subculture of it all along the south coast - I bet there's some round you too, being a holiday town and all.

Don't let them affect you - hope your afternoon is nice.
